AS9100 is an internationally recognised standard, awarded to those organisations who design, develop, or provide aviation, space, or defence products and services. The standard builds on the foundational elements of ISO 9100, but provides an extra focus on improving confidence in the aerospace industry. 

It was developed to ensure companies operating within these sectors produce the highest quality product and service in the safest and most efficient way.
