What is SC21 and What Does it Mean for our Customers?

Here at McGreevy Engineering, we have been awarded the Supply Chain 21st Century (SC21) Bronze accreditation for a number of consecutive years, but what exactly is it and what does it mean for our customers?

Operated by the Aerospace Defence Security Group (ADS), SC21 is a UK wide programme designed to improve suppliers’ manufacturing processes, sustainability, competitiveness and delivery times. Programme participants must meet certain standards around these key aspects in order to be awarded a gold, silver or bronze accreditation.

Signing up to participate in SC21 takes a lot of hard work and dedication. So why choose to do it? For McGreevy Engineering, it cemented our company’s commitment to continuous improvement so that our team of engineers can continue to provide top quality products for our customers – which is something we’ve always strived to achieve.

As a result of our SC21 Bronze accreditation, our customers receive many benefits including:

  • Improved delivery performance
  • Short lead times
  • Clear and concise communication throughout all stages of the ordering, manufacturing and buying process

Perhaps a lesser known fact about the SC21 accreditation is that companies are required to complete an annual reassessment to ensure that robust standards are continuing.

The completion and continuation of our SC21 accreditation provides solid proof for our customers that McGreevy Engineering can deliver quality and sustainability in the shortest possible lead time.
